But here are my rants<\/p>\n
Parks and Rec<\/em> is still solid.\u00a0 Ron Swanson is one hell of a character.\u00a0 He’s a better foil for Amy Poehler than Tina Fey was and that is saying something.\u00a0 And the Tammy episodes have continued their epic scope.<\/p>\n The Office<\/em> has been underwhelming.\u00a0 I’m still watching because I’ve been in this long, I want to see what they have planed for the ending.<\/p>\n Tom Hanks’ Electric City<\/em> is…\u00a0 well…\u00a0 Just fucking awesome.\u00a0 Very sad, action packed, social commentary. Post apocalyptic society.\u00a0 Scariest sewing circle ever.\u00a0 This isn’t TV per sea; it was a series of Yahoo web shorts.\u00a0 Watch it, it’s amazing.<\/p>\n House of Cards<\/em>.\u00a0 Netflix’s 1st series.\u00a0 I won’t say original because it’s a remake of a British show; but it doesn’t matter.\u00a0 Kevin Spacey is born to play the part of a Machivelian congressman from South Carolina.\u00a0 Kate Mara and Robin Wright are also awesome in it.\u00a0 I’d even vote for Spacey’s character.\u00a0 Very very good.<\/p>\n Nashville<\/em>.\u00a0 Yep still watching it.\u00a0 This has become a solid show.\u00a0 It’s somewhat of a morality tale but it’s not an asshole.\u00a0 It really makes you want to see what happens.\u00a0 Chip Esten is quietly stealing the show and needs to act in more shit.<\/p>\n Justified<\/em>.\u00a0 This refuses to become another cop show.\u00a0 Love it.<\/p>\n Archer<\/em> is still obviously awesome.<\/p>\n Upcoming:<\/p>\n Game of Thrones<\/em>, March 31<\/p>\n Mad Men<\/em>, April 7<\/p>\n Breaking Bad<\/em>, July 14 (fuck)<\/p>\n Venture Bros<\/em>, May 19<\/p>\n The Killing<\/em>, May (It Rises!)<\/p>\n CBS, the worst network ever, is developing Steven King’s Under the Dome<\/em> as a series.\u00a0 If CBS has ever had a good drama, I can’t recall what it might be.\u00a0 I’m currently reading the book and I’ll get back to you on what a massive clusterfuck this will be.<\/p>\n Woody Harelson and Matt McConaughey are developing a series called True Detective<\/em> for HBO.\u00a0 Ought to be interesting.<\/p>\n Actually HBO has a bunch of interesting stuff going on.\u00a0 Hobgoblin<\/em> is a series in development about a bunch of magicians and con men who try to bring down the nazi regime in WW2.\u00a0 Michael Chabon is writing it.\u00a0 I’ve only read one of his books, The Yiddish Policemen’s Union<\/em>, but it was pretty epic.<\/p>\n They’re also adapting American Gods<\/em> (Neil Gaiman).\u00a0 I don’t think this can be successfully done.\u00a0 But I’d rather have HBO try than CBS.<\/p>\n More later, now time to make snowballs for the coming battle…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I’m watching less tv than I should (I’m a little gun shy with that 6 strikes rule out).
